Part One
The Encounter Ministry Development School was established in 2010 and since then, over 120 men and women have completed the course and many graduates have taken up roles as pastors, church planters, youth and assistant ministry roles throughout the nation.
Beginning in 2016, The Encounter Ministry Development School added a new range of one year study options so that every believer, whether called to pastoral ministry or not, could learn and develop in serving Christ in their communities.
We believe this is a time of great opportunity for the expansion of the Kingdom of God in New Zealand. Our response to this opportunity is to co-labour with pastors from churches across the country to prepare men and women to lead and serve with faithfulness and effectiveness.
We welcome enquiries from any individuals, and from local church pastors who would like to discuss with us how we might serve their desires to train and equip.
Prospectus Opportunities
Certificate of Empowered Life & Ministry: One year training in supernatural ministry and pastoral leadership.
Certificate in Biblical Studies: One year training in New Covenant theology and kingdom life.
Certificate of Ministry: One year training in new creation truth and Holy Spirit power, blended to increase both knowledge and competence for ministry.
Diploma of Ministry: Guided reading and self-study offered to graduates of any MDS Certificate course.

With a heart and vision to build and support the ‘local church’ and leader Ps Brent saw the need to develop quality leaders who could stay in the local church while being equipped. It is from this place that he designed the Ministry Development School. Brent continues to equip and train leaders for ministry and is seen by many as an apostle, prophet and father of the faith for the
nation of New Zealand.

Tony is a gifted teacher and has a heart to equip young adults to know the Word of God and apply that to their daily life. Tony has been an active part of Encounter Church for over 25 years and has been the Dean of the Ministry Development School for 5 years.
