This week
We have had a very successful AGM on Monday evening with a great result. God has so blessed Encounter & we are grateful to the Trust & Finance team for the work done & their financial projections for the Churches future.
There will be copies of Brents report available Sunday
You may have noticed the news Monday evening of our AGM where it was reported that Tram Valley Rd was closed because of flooding & the only way through was up a ladder onto the big Council carrier. This was a fantastic drama. Life has now returned to normal.

Friday June 26th
Fuel - This week we are splitting up Girls only|Guys only in our sleep over night for Fuel. Cost is $10 and it is going to be a night we have all be waiting for. Following that week is our Massive where we will be having a Mid Winter Christmas party.
Alta - The‘So rank it’s Hot’ ball on the 3rd of July. This is our end of term celebration. come dressed from the eighties or nineties in something uncool. We have a band, food, and a party atmosphere happening from 7:30pm.
Young Adults - Get along to cells this week and learn more about the Lifes a Beach weekend on September 4-6th in Whangamata. ALSO you are invited to the So Rank It’s Hot Ball on FRiday 3rd - see the Alta notices for the details.

As this is the Sunday prior to Brent & Patricia & the Team leaving for Samoa, we will have details of the Conference, & prayer for team. There is high expectation for this Conference & we believe in the prayer support from Encounter to see us move in God’s authority.
Team who are traveling are Miriam & Warwick Robinson, Lynette Otter, Robyn Ewen, Andy Scarr, Adrienne Fountain, Kristen Swain & Renee Swindells.

Library: Our Encounter Library is open for borrowing or browsing following each service. It is located on the mezzanine floor above the Cafe & Robyn Ewen will be pleased to assist.
Upcoming Dates
Thursday 25th June 7.30pm: Kids outreach in Avondale
You are invited to join Encounter Global and Encounter Kids to discuss and plan a new Encounter initiative for community outreach.
The discussions will include ideas such as school holiday programs and after school clubs. We will be raising a committed team to begin the work.
This will be held upstairs in the Encounter offices.

An awesome Evangelist Preacher will be visiting Encounter over this weekend.
Expressions Women’s Conference
October 16 & 17
Guest speaker Judith Green from Alaska. There are many Churches expressing interest in this Conference. I am believing that as we find Gods plan for this Event that it will indeed have a great result.
‘Lifes a Beach’ YA Getaway 4-6 September (new dates)- Young Adults weekend away with Luka Robertson - Whangamata. Details coming real soon!
